Have We Met Before?

J'Loni stepped off the shuttle with J'Lenna in tow and headed for the Vengeance's loading area. She was not privy to staying on space dock lodging. She felt more comfortable in her quarters on the ship. "Mom, mom," her daughter said, trying to get her attention. "Not now J'Lenna," she said as she kept walking. Not looking where she was going, a bad habit she picked up while in engineering, she walked into an officer, nearly making them both fall. All J'Lenna could do was laugh at her mother. It was so funny watching her mother walk headlong into someone.

"Fek'lar!, So sorry, I'm always doing that. I need to stop that as I am not in my environment where I can walk without looking where I am at," she said, picking up what fell in the collision. Glaring at her still giggling daughter,"J'Lenna, that is not funny!", she growled softly. Now turning her attention to the officer, something about him seemed familiar, "Haven't we met before?", she asked, looking at him.

The Admiral noticed J'Loni and said. "hello Lieutenant commander I do know you. Remember. I was your commanding officer before I became fleet admiral of starfleet. It was on a past assignment." He said smiling. "Now who's this little one?" He had asked. He didn't know what was going on but however, he knew that she was happy.

Now remembering where they had indeed met, J'Loni smiled. "That's right, you were my Captain years ago. How are you sir? Oh excuse me, this is my daughter, J'Lenna. I did marry and well her daddy is KIA. It took me a while to deal with it but I have come back to my calling and well here I am again and free as a bird again. J'Lenna is going to go into the Academy in a few years, but until then, she is with me. Anyway tell me where they have stuck you now? Starbase or Starship. I know you hate being behind a desk" she said chuckling.

"Well I'm stuck at Spacedock. Fleet Admiral of course. Uh well. Things have been okay and honestly as of right now I've put myself here on the Vengeance because, I had a feeling I'd be seeing you again. However, my wife was the captain of the Vengence. The original Vengence and I know the feeling. However, I've always thought about you nonstop. You've been someone that I've been wanting to be with and honestly, I've had feelings for you since then." He said.

"I know you had, remember I am a hybrid and I still can sense you still do. How is your wife these day's, I hope she is well?" J'Loni asked. Studying his face and eyes, yes he still did have those feelings for her.

"She had passed away. The vengence was destroyed and with her on her. So I am not with anyone. She passed away 3 years ago. But I'm hanging in there." He said. "seeing you again made it better." He added.

"Oh my.....I hadn't realized that and I am so sorry to hear that Walker", J'Loni said putting her hand on his shoulder showing genuine sympathy for him. She could feel the pain of his loss and at the same time the joy of seeing her again. Seeing him again re lit the old feelings she had while they were on the USS Themisto.

"Hey it's okay. I am already gotten over it. However, seeing you again has made it better. Honestly, I've never thought I'd see you again." He smiled. "How have you been since the last time I saw you?" He had asked J'Loni.

"It's been a struggle to find a more permanent home. Hopefully I have found it here on the Vengeance and with seeing you here, well it makes a world of difference," J'Loni said smiling. Grabbing Jenna's hand, she felt more calmer, and more comfortable with Walker now that he is single again. Maybe now it will be different between them.

"Well as Fleet Admiral I'm gonna make it a permanent for you. However, I have noticed that you started to be much more comfortable around me now. I've um been wanting to know something J'Loni. But I'm not sure if you're willing to be a um well you know a thing." He said. He then started to feel the erge of kissing her but he refrained.

J'Loni laughed softly. She felt his urge to plant one and beat him to it. Letting J'Lenna's hand go she drew Walker close and planted a very passionate kiss on his lips. "MOTHER!!!!?", J'Lenna said loudly as she watched them kiss. Releasing Walker from the kiss finally, "Does that answer your question ? My love?", she said softly caressing his face tenderly.

"Yes, it does. Um. J'Loni, would you like me to show you where engineering it for you?" He asked J'Loni. Knowing that her love for him was more precious then anyone they have been with.

Taking his hand, "By all means Walker. Please do", J'Loni said sheepishly.
